Depends: Being immersed in cool water may result in increased urination, and this is not a cause for concern. If you are experiencing frequent urges to urinate and/ or difficulty controlling your bladder, you could have a urinary tract infection, which calls for an evaluation by a health care provider.

New or...: What described suggests you have urge urinary incontinence(ui) - inability to hold urine until getting to bathroom. Is this new or lifelong event? To some people, a sudden change in environmental temperature may incite an urge to void, leading to some urge ui. If this is new, consider if having UTI or bladder instability. If lifelong, it's okay. But, either one can be helped; so, see doc timely.
