Hepatitis: These elevations of the liver enzymes can be caused by many different factors: alcohol, viral or bacterial infections of the liver or digestive tract, exposure to certain chemicals. Get checked for hepatitis a, b and c. Ask for a liver/abdominal ultrasound.

Possibly: Your alt and ast are mildly elevated, but your GGT is more moderately elevated. Ggt elevation is relatively nonspecific in that it does not give us a clear picture as to what is exactly wrong but does indicate that there is some liver damage being done. It has been linked to hepatitis, cirrhosis, alcohol abuse, and others. I would suggest a good sit down discussion with your doctor.
