Can celexa (citalopram) cause spotting after miscarriage?

Likely not celexa (citalopram): Antidepressants like Celexa (citalopram) can affect platelet function (and thereby increase risk of bleeding), but this is very rarely of any clinical significance. It is much more likely to be a result of the miscarriage itself than the medication. But, of course, if you are concerned, you should call your ob-gyn.

Celexa: Agree wiht Dr. Boisture. It isn't likely that Celexa is responsible for miscarriage or spotting.
