Infection with types of human papilloma virus (hpv) is the greatest risk factor followed by smoking. Other risk factors include human immunodeficiency virus (hiv). Not all of the causes are known. Many others are thought to contribute.

Not quite: It is very prevalent and typically type 16 and 18 are the culprits, however it probably isn't accurate to say 'all' are caused by it.
