Menstrual issues: Any changes in regular menstrual pattern should be evaluated for possible pregnancy. Other than that an infectious process is a common cause of abnormal bleeding and or discharge. If not any of those then hormonal irregularities could be causing the problem. Follow up with your gyn provider.
