You can't: There are many causes of pharyngitis, and most will take a while to be corrected. You may alleviate some symptoms by using analgesics, lozenges, etc. If it's severe you may benefit from a throat swab to check for streptococcus. An old home remedy is to gargle occasionally with salt water. If this is associated with a fever or rash, see your doctor. Good luck.
