CT detects anatomy : Angina is a symptom of cardiac pain caused by a mismatch between the amount of oxygen needed, and that available: with angina, the heart cells don't have enough oxygen, which causes (reversible) symptoms. A cardiac ct angiogram evaluates the size of the coronary arteries, which deliver oxygen in the blood to the heart. More severe blockages are associated with angina, and subsequent heart attack.

No: Angina is a clinical symptom. The angiogram r cardiac ct are both imaging studies. We can look at imaging studies and suggest that there is narrowing of the coronary arteries which may cause angina.
