Dengue and HIV: Dengue fever is spread by mosquitos. In areas where it is endemic, the highest rates of transmission are during warmer months with high rainfall which are the best breeding conditions for the mosquitos. Hiv is not spread by mosquitos.

Mosquitoes: Dengue Fever is due to a virus that is transmitted by several types of Aedes mosquitoes. Most commonly it is transmitted by A. Aegypti. HIV is not spread by mosquitoes.
