Adjusting.: When you lose both legs, you lose a high degree of independence. Prosthesis could be discussed with your doctor if you are a good candidate. Occupational therapy is excellent to teach you different ways of doing things you always did to care for yourself. Discuss with your doctor about this. Physical therapy can also help with strengthening upper body to allow more mobility with a wheelchair.
