Can you tell me about taking glucosamine chondroitin to help relieve your tmj pain?

Try it: Worth a try. Will need to do this for at least six weeks for optimum results. This usually does not solve the problem for my patients. Good luck.

Possibly but...: taking the supplement should be fine, but much better, if possible, to try and get to the source of your issue and treat accordingly- physical therapy, exercises, mouthpieces, etc.

TMJ pain: Gucosamine chondroitin will not help. TMJ pain is a symptom, usually the result of bruxism (chronic teeth grinding and/or clenching), a bad bite, or in rare cases arthritis. See your dentist, or a dentist who treats TMJ dysfunction, for a diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
