A member asked:

Would having a certain blood type make you more susceptible to different types of illnesses?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Basically no: Stomach cancer is a bit more common in folks with blood type A and stomach ulcer in folks with type O -- something about how helicobacter binds to cells on these antigens. Pretty much anything else you read about this is internet baloney or from a series of books written in the 1990's by a crook with an incredibly fertile imagination.
