A member asked:

I have diabetes insipidus and wanted to know why is urination more frequent at night?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Less ADH (vasopressin) : In central diabetes insipidus( di) there is lack of antidiuretic hormone secretion from hypothalamus, or the level is low. It might even be lower at night. With your doctor agreement you may limit the liquid consumption at night and have a higher dose of your medication ( desmopressin).
