See your doctor: It is possible that the diarrhea could be due to an allergy or insensitivity to the breast milk/formula your baby is getting - see your doctor who can test the stool for blood and possible infection. Your doctor can also re-weigh your infant and see if the baby is gaining weight. Your doctor might also suggest other formulas to try.

NEONATAL DIARRHEA:: needs to be seen by the pediatrician ASAP, needs to rule out lactose intolerance or other possibilities including metabolic causes. To prevent contact dermatitis of the diaper area, clean the area with lukewarm water after each BM, put Vaseline or Decetin cream on the skin.
