Clinching fist and jaw is this normal in new born?

Seek further care: Hard to say with such little information. Is the clenching sustained or intermittent? Was there any birth trauma? Is the baby otherwise healthy and feeding/waking normally? You should have him or her seen by your pediatrician to be sure.

Usually: Infants clench their fist as a reflex to anything touching their palm up until 4 months of age when they can start relaxing it and may start using the hand to explore things. What you mean by a clenched jaw is uncertain. If the kid is able to feed normally I doubt what you are describing is a concern.
