Progesterone: Hi! progesterone can cause the change in the cervical mucus to the consistency that you noted. Progesterone can mean that you ovulated, or even better that you conceived. It is possible to test for pregnancy as early as 4-5 days before you expect your period, so you are probably close to being able to test. Good luck! dr brown.

Not entirely: It certainly sounds as if you ovulated but the discharge character is consistent with ovulation only, not pregnancy. If you did conceive, a urine pregnancy test should be positive in about a week. Ovulation on day #19 is a little late for normal, fertile cycles. If this is your usual pattern, and you are not getting pregnant, Clomiphene might help.
