Time: Prevention is the best treatment here. Use sharp, clean razors and shave more frequently to prevent this problem. Added tip: shaving directly after showering with hot water will open the pores on you face/neck and make for a smoother shave.

Razor bump scars: A steroid cream might be applied to decrease inflammation. Exfoliation may be recommended to remove dead skin cells with retinoids.
