Lactose intolerance: True milk allergy is ige mediated and involves - hives, wheezing, skin rashes, anaphylaxis. Milk intolerance - most notably - lactose intolerance, is associated with loose bowel movements, abdominal cramps and gas, is due to a deficiency of the enzyme lactase.
