what is the cause of early grey hair in the pubic region?

Dr. Eugene Ahn

Unclear: Although we understand grey hair to be due to the loss of melanin production in the hair follicle, and pubic hair is no different, it is not clear why some women have earlier grey hair than others although race, genetics, toxin exposure are factors. For possible reversible causes, would recommend checking blood for B12 and thyroid function.

Yes: The age and hormonal changes that cause head, armpit and chest hair to get grey, also causes pubic hair to turn grey as well.
