A member asked:

Can i donate plasma with rheumatoid arthritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: Donation would not really be harmful to you except it may affect blood levels of medications used to treat your ra. However, most plasma centers do not want plasma from people who have auto-immune diseases. In that case, you need to speak with the medical director of the specific site you donate at, but don't be surprised if they say no to your offer of donation.
