Stop vacuuming: It means you need to see a spine specialist (pm;r/physiatrist or anesth. With spine fellowship). This is a very common complaint with my patients starting around your age. Although numerous things can be the source of the pain in that area, the lumbar facet joints seem to be the culprit many times. Anti-inflammatories and possibly pt can be tried, but injection procedures may be the best.

Spine Pain Options: This chronic pain in the distribution as you suggested is the result of an irritated nerve or facet joints or other injury typically in the spine (mid back) which are caused by herniated disks, spinal stenosis or degenerative disc disease, etc requiring further evaluation by a spine specialist and may be candidate for facet injections/radiofrequency ablation and epidural steroid injection.
