Help please! what do docs do when they discover an abnormal growth in your brain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A FEW POINTS: Many lesions within the brain are relatively benign, such as a meningioma. Gliomas are really quite uncommon, and sometimes, the "growth" represents a congenital cyst. Often, we use repetitive MRI images over a period of time to see if growth is expanding. Occasionally a surgical biopsy is needed. A popular approach to tumors is now the "Gamma Knife".
