Chlamydia: Most commonly the person infected and any partners are treated with Azithromycin 1 gram (1, 000 mg) as a single dose or Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for 10 days. It's important that the infected person and partners are all treated and tested to confirm cure before resuming sexual relations. There are cases of antibiotic resistance to these infection and alternate treatment may be necessary.
