Cervical Mucous: Yes, you can 'fall' pregnant if there is sperm in your vagina during the five days leading up to ovulation. Cervical mucous or the lack there of is not in any way a reliable way to monitor anything about your menstrual cycle. That would be a myth and one that you should let go.
