How fast can a liver swell? ct report says increase of 2cm from the scan 2 days prior. is this possible or an error in comparing cts?

Hepatomegally: The liver can rapidly swell, but this is usually due to some form of toxic injury such as Acetaminophen poisoning. There can be some difference in technique in performing a ct that may give a discrepancy in size and there is often some variation if the ct scans are done at different institutions.
