Last cycle and sono: Due date or how many weeks pregnant are calculated from the first day of the last menstruation, whose menses are regular. One gets pregnant two weeks after the last menstruation, so when we say woman is 8 weeks pregnant, in reality she is only 6 weeks pregnant. Sonogram in first three months pregnancy is very accurate in dating pregnancy. Total pregnancy is 40 weeks.
