Depends on the past: "normal" period means a period that is like all the other periods one has had over the past year. If this "light period" that lasts "just one day" with menstrual flow going "on/off" is just like all the other periods in the preceding months, then a woman could think this is a normal period. However, with a positive pregnancy test, the vaginal bleeding is not a real period even if it seemed normal.
