Plan B: Potential side effects w emergency contraception include menstrual flow changes (spotting, bleeding, early or late period). The Plan B may have caused the change in your normal bleeding pattern. Just so you know - if you take your birth control pills regularly - then the Plan B One Step was likely not required.
