True spinning: Light headedness and vertigo are two separate and different symptoms. Light headedness is the result of poor oxygenation to the brain such as might be present with either hypertension or hypotension. This is not an inner ear symptom. Vertigo by definition is an hallucination of spinning such as the room spinning around and is usually an ear problem but can be central in origin. See doctor.
