A member asked:

How to count periods and ovulation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

First day of cycle: Your menses' first day will be the first day of flow (requiring a pad or tampon). Most clinics use this as the timing of the period cycles. Ovulation is 12-14 days backwards in time from the start of your menses (above). You could also use other forms of ovulation kits to determine if you ovulated.
