Likely nothing: It is most likely mittelschmerz, which is a little spotting midcycle. The theory is, when ovulation occurs (at midcycle) there can be a little bit of blood loss when the egg (ovum) is released. It is not something to be concerned about. It doesn't mean it will happen again necessarily , but it could.
