Hearing lost: Noise induced hearing lost can occur if the loud noise is repeated over a period of time. One episode of shattering plate is not likely to cause hearing lost or damage to ear drum.

Unlikely: But noise trauma can damage the inner ear. If you think there has been any change in your hearing see an ENT to get a hearing test
