Hey docs, what helps you with pain from arthritis?

NSAIDs: Anti-inflammatory medication such as aleve (naproxen) or Motrin help the most. It is also a good idea to strengthen the muscles surrounding the affected joint (s) to help stabilize the joint. Weight loss (if needed) is beneficial as well. If none of those measures help then see your doctor for further workup and treatment.

It depends: The best treatment option vary depending on the type of arthritis. There are over 100 types. For osteoarthritis try Tylenol, (acetaminophen) Advil or Aleve. If the pain persists have it evaluated.
