I'm curious what could happen after one quits synthroid (thyroxine)?

Bad things.....: If you were placed on Synthroid (thyroxine) because of an underactive thyroid, if you quit it, then you will return your body to a state hypothyroidism. If Synthroid (thyroxine) was used for other purposes it might be possible to come off of it but it is always wise to discuss this with your physician.
