Ovulation bleeding: Due to the hormonal changes that occur around the time of ovulation, some women have some light bleeding during that time. Ovulation can also cause cramping for a couple of days. Since this is a new symptom, at your age (over 35), i would see your doctor to be evaluated. The standard tests would be an ultrasound, then maybe a biopsy.
