Can you descripe oral herpes?

Varies: Typical is a tingling sensation in the lip soon followed by a red dot, then a small water blister on a localized area of a lip. This will be on the same area nearly every time. Most often close to the vermilion border. Soon it is a scab with a rim of red skin. After about a week it heals without a trace. The virus is present periodically on this area in the absence of any symptoms. Antiviral pills.
