Obesity cancer: Obesity has been linked to over 20 different medical conditions ranging from hypertension to reflux disease. The higher estrogen levels in obese females has been linked to a variety of gynecological malignancies. Also, screening tests are more difficult to perform in the morbidly obese, like mammograms and colonoscopies thus impacted the success of those screening tests in identifying malignancy.
