Not likely: Unless there is a family history of albinism. Ask the baby's pediatrician for an opinion on this.

Most likely No: Dear m, albinism is the complete lack of pigment. The fact that he had color to his eyes indicates the presence of pigment. Platinum blonde hair or white hair is a normal color to hair in the newborn as well as early childhood. Children with white hair are often called" toe heads". Blonde or brown hair supercedes their white by the time they reach adolescence.
