Use a washcloth: Smegma is desquamative skin trapped between two skin edges. This exfoliation of skin is a normal process and happens everywhere we have skin. In skin creases the exfoliated skin gets trapped and accumulates and that is the condition you described. Is using a washcloth to scrub in these areas helps eliminate the smegma.
