Reevaluation by surgeon: Typically a hydrocele hernia defect if it is an indirect hernia with closure of the sack with or without mesh will resolve the condition. If the sack is still open you may see variation in size. However this may be postoperative swelling. A return for evaluation with your surgeon who performed the procedure should be your first step.
