Pregnancy test?: It's always a good idea to take a pregnancy test if you have had unprotected sex and your period is late, too light, or different. If the test is negative (and if last sex was more than 14 days ago), then your symptoms could be from something else, like an ovarian cyst, or just a hormonal fluctuation.

Test: Make sure you are not pregnant. Do a pregnancy test with a first morning urine or ask your doctor for HCG blood test.
