Could use your help docs! my wife often seems to get cold sores after we share a passionate kiss. am i the problem?

Not likely: If her "cold sores" are truly from the herpes virus (as opposed to canker sores), then she is already infected with virus. The virus lays dormant in nerve cells and reactivates into a fever blister. She is more likely to spread the virus to you when actively infected. Certain things may trigger an outbreak, such as stress, sun exposure, a recent cold or infection.
