Need help docs! my 14 yr old tore her acl . her growth plates on her tibia are still open about 1 mm. what are her options.?

ACL tears: Acl tears are inside the joint. The growth plate is not part of the acl. Also, the tears can be of varying degrees, so her options would be best discussed with her orthopedic/sports medicine doctor. Follow his/her advice 4activity. Partial tears may heal on their own at times but complete tears may need surgical repair. So this question is hard to answer without a complete exam.
