Can be: Depending on how high up your diaphragm is being pushed by the baby from below, this can displace your fascia and cause pain to radiates up into the mid back or shoulder blade area, just due to a space effect. Should be temporary, as the baby repositions itself, or after delivery.

Back pain: With rapid weight gain during the third trimester and loosening of ligaments and tendons in preparation for delivery it is not uncommon to have pain in up and down the spine. Make sure that your bras are fitting properly to off load the stress of increasing breast size on your neck and shoulders. See your obstetrician for evaluation of your pain.
