Is there a special advice to treat a kid with odd and t1d?

Dr. Adam Lowry answered

Specializes in Pediatrics

Develop a team: In my experience, in complex situations the best outcomes occur when people work together. Find a caring and dedicated pediatrician, endocrinologist, and child psychiatrist, and form a good working relationship with each. Foster communication among this team. Involve the child in decisions, when appropriate, and encourage his/her involvement in care.
