One percocet should: Not cause problems with breastfeeding, but if you want to be safe, i would wait at least 24 hours. It would not likely show up in a drug test for more than 24 hours if a single dose, 48 hours at most. If it were prescribed, then a positive test should not have any impact on you, legally or otherwise. If taken on a regular basis, urine tests can remain positive for 3-4 days at most.

12 hrs approx: At 3-4 hours the drug is considered 1/2 gone. At 12 hours it's going to be almost all the way gone. It's so very common for women to have a cesarean section or perineal repair following delivery that requires a narcotic to help with pain. In terms of how long blood test will be positive for narcotic, it's around 36-48 hours. Hope that helps.
