Abnormal bleeding: It could happen to many reason, including thyroid disease, hormonal imbalance, fibroids, pelvic infection, endometrial cancer etc. Patients your age sometimes have abnormal bleeding due perimenopausal changes, hoever every woman after 40 y/o should have a biopsy to rule out serious pathologies.
