False information: Gonorrhea is still effective treated with antibiotics. What you may be referring to is the fact that some oral antibiotics which use to be effective against gonorrhea, are meeting resistant strains. The treatment of choice for gonorrhea is an antibiotic injection (ceftriaxone). Other options are zithromax or doxycycline.
