It can be in any: Neoplastic changes can be very aggressive in any tisue, but the most common agressive solid tumors originate in epithelial and glial (neuro) tissues.

Pancreas: While it takes 15+ years to develop an infiltrating pancreas cancer, at diagnosis only 10% of patients are operable. For those that have a surgical resection with no evidence of metastasis or spread to nodes only 10% survive at the 1-2 year period post surgery.
