can someone get pregnant with precum if ovulation is a week away?

Probably not: But maybe. There are sperm in pre-cum, and they can live for several days, but usually not a whole week. If you happened to ovulate early (yes, that happens), then there could be a conception. So, consider a morning after pill to delay ovulation, and be more careful in the future!
