Muscle spasms: Muscular spasms can become chronic if the underlying cause is left untreated (e.g. Disc herniation, pinched nerve, joint pain from spinal joints etc). Please have proper evaluation of your pain and in the mean time, regular walking on soft surface with proper shoes would be beneficial. Heat and massage would provide temporary relief when severe. All the best.
